I am going to spend about $5,000 on a new watch. I currently own a Rolex Thunderbird and a Rolex GMT so I'd like to try a new brand now. What brands would you suggest are a nice fit for my taste?
Obviously you are a Rolex fan, but already owning two of them I would advise another brand. I personally love IWC watches and have asked several industry mavens and watchmakers and most - if not all think it's a great brand in terms of quality and value. There are just so many brands out there that I would be proud to wear: Jaeger Le Coultre, Girard Perregaux, Baume et Mercier, even some Panerais to be had at this price point.
